There are two fun things about this calendar. One, is that this is a typographic calendar. Each month is set in a different typeface, like Helvetica, Caslon, or Adobe Garamond Pro. At the end of each month, there is information about the designer of the typeface and the typeface itself. Second, the calendar shows change over time. Each month, the first letter of the month is illustrated as a brick wall with vines growing over it. From January to December, the vines creep further and further up each letter, until the wall is fully covered. I illustrated all of the graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and the spreads were laid out in Adobe InDesign.
