My name is Alexa and I am a graphic designer from Stoughton, Wisconsin. I graduated from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in May 2022, with a BA in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design with a minor in Media Arts & Game Development. During my college career, I gained experience with a wide variety of design techniques and media, including print, package design, UI/UX, branding, and motion design.
I gained over three years of experience as a graphic designer for the James R. Connor University Center at UW-Whitewater. While there, I worked on over 200 projects that included the design of print and digital materials to promote University Center events and the brand as a whole.
My goal as a graphic designer is for my work to connect with and impact the people who interact with it. Although graphic design is my main proficiency, my knowledge of other forms of digital media gives me the freedom to create work for a variety of design needs. I’m excited by the wide range of applications of graphic design, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
