I was assigned to create an energy drink brand, logo, and label design that conveyed a sense of power and energy. I chose the name Sceptre to refer to the power associated with royalty, and created a high-end, luxurious energy drink brand. I referenced Old English style typography and ornamental drop caps to create the logo graphic. I chose royal colors, including golds and rich, jewel tones to signify the different flavors. Each can has a unique background pattern that includes the fruit of the flavor named on each can, and I created my own descriptive copy of the product. Finally, I designed a six-can variety pack that combines the colors and shapes of the three flavors into one cohesive design.
